Answer: As we know that moon is ratate,and the earth shadows block some parts of the moon,that what make the moon different phrases.It aslo depends on how the moon position is.If the moon is too near to the sun,we won't be able to see the moon in earth as we know that the ligth is too shinning.

(b) How are the Earth and the Moon lit? Why do you think they are lit in such ways?

Answer: The Planetshine occurs when the light reflected sunlight.The best examples are Earthshines .The Earthshines is that which we can see from the earth when the moon is thin Cresent.When the moon is news as viewed earth,the earth is nearly fully lit up as viewed from the sun.We aslo know that the Moon and the Earth is both reflected from the sun which is posible for us to see the moon on earth.

Answer: The Moon is in synchronous rotation,meaning that it keeps nearly the same face turned towards the Earth all times.

(d) Where is the Moon with respect to the Sun?

Answer: As we know that the Sun is a parent of the Earth,and the Earth is the parent of the moon,We can see that the moon is orbiting around the earth.
